In Israel, teenage visitors to the Coca-Cola Village can take advantage of brand new technology that allows them to automatically update their Facebook status by scanning a promotional wristband across a digital reader. In order to win a three day trip to the Village, teenage consumers must sign up through Faceook in small groups and collect a specified number of bottle tops, as well as pay a $50 fee to take care of all accommodation, food and activities. The Village, which opened five years ago, plays host to 600 to 800 teenagers at a time, offering them access to amenities like horse-back riding, massages, rock concerts and sports. Bundle Up This Fall with Custom Blankets
Football season is officially starting this weekend and I am super excited for the weather to cool down and start enjoying the tailgating and team rivalries. Custom blankets are a great way to show your team spirit especially if you are supporting your local high school teams. Schools can earn funds to support their programs by selling custom blankets to the faculty and parents of the students. Not only will the parents be proud to sport their child’s team colors, but they will also be comfy and cozy throughout the season. Custom blankets are great item the entire family can share and even take along for any other outdoor Fall activities.

For the Fan in All of Us: Promotional Spirit Accessories
I’ve never really been that big into football. Yes, I watch the Super Bowl each year. I do have a small stash of promotional spirit accessories. And sure I’ll go to a game now and again. But I’ve never really had that desire to, say, paint my face in blue or red and tailgate mercilessly before each and every home game.
Well that all changed yesterday. At 7:30 on Thursday, Georgia State University (my Alma Mater) played the first game of their inaugural football season – and won big time.

Promotional Kits for National Preparedness Month
This morning on my way to work, a shining beacon of inspiration hung above the highway: an illuminated Georgia DOT sign encouraging commuters to ‘Get Prepared for Preparedness Month.’ I immediately felt smug as I glanced in the rear view mirror at my automotive emergency kit. However, that comfortable feeling soon disappeared as I began to consider the opacity of the suggestion on the sign: ‘Get Prepared’ for what? I might have a couple of promotional kits in my car for first-aid catastrophes and vehicular issues, but that was the extent of my preparedness. As soon as I got to my desk I started in on a little research and development and was relieved to find that there is a promotional kit to prepare me for any unforeseen circumstances, from a lost button that needs reattached to an impromptu craft party. Get prepared…
Promotional Computer Accessories à la Juicy Couture
Started in 1995 Gela Nash-Taylor (wife of Duran Duran bass guitarist John Taylor) and Pamela Skaist-Levy as a line of athletic and casual girly apparel that was to be more affordable to the general public, the brand Juicy Couture has become a fashion empire in its own right that also includes – along with its iconic tracksuits – cosmetics, jewelry, handbags, and yes, computer accessories too. As for their initial “affordable” aims for the “general public” target market, today you’ll be pressed to find any items of apparel that go for under $100 and their current clientele includes the likes of Madonna, Paris Hilton, Jessica Biel, and Eva Longoria Parker. And so it goes for all that generally dons the label “couture.”
The Juicy Couture branded computer accessories actually all come in at under one c-note, but they will still cost you about 3 times more than their promotional counterparts. Ah, the cost of couture…
In addition to the Juicy Couture Wireless Flexible Keyboard featured above, Juicy fans can also purchase the Juicy Couture “Blinged Out” Wireless Mouse and the Juicy Couture Heart Shaped USB Port.
Gift Bags Featuring Recycled Promotional Products at the Emmy Awards
The glitz, glamour and elegance of Sunday night’s Emmy Awards were exactly what television viewers expect to see from the awards show each year. Big winners like “Modern Family,” “Mad Men,” and “Glee” walked away with multiple awards for their programming, but nominees whom did not fare as well and the rest of the event’s audience members did not leave the event and associated after-parties empty-handed. Influential celebrities and guests collected countless high-end giveaways, many of which happened to be recycled promotional products. To find out more details about the indulgent premium gifts and get some great ideas for products to include in unique branded gift bags for your clients and/or employees, keep reading…
Promotional Smartphone Travel Case to Protect Your Investment
I recently received the iPhone 4 as a birthday gift and it is my first venture into the world of smartphones. I have been using it as a resource tool and also for entertainment value. The first thing I looked for after receiving the phone was, of course, a protective case. Don’t want to throw all that money down the drain by dropping and shattering it everywhere. One of the nicest smartphone cases I have seen introduced into our industry of late, is our Leather Smartphone Travel Case. This piece would work great for the traveling businessman or woman. It is sleek and professional and even includes a clip so you won’t lose your new baby. I don’t know how I lived so long without my iPhone.

Pop-Tarts World Abuzz with Sushi, Snack Packs and Company T Shirts
If you’ve never been a fan of sushi, it might be time to give it another try with a variety that doesn’t contain raw fish. Rather, Pop-Tarts Sushi, contains 3 varieties of Pop-Tarts flavors, which are crushed into tiny pieces, mixed together, and folded into Fruit Roll-Ups. Some people think this sounds delicious- while others call it down-right nasty- but either way, Pop-Tarts sushi and the new Pop-Tarts World are making a buzz in Times Square. The store, which opened earlier this month, aims to rebrand the breakfast treat as a fun snack for all ages. Main attractions include a 16 foot. vending machine that allows users to create their own Pop-Tarts variety pack, a sit-down restaurant, and a create-your-own Pop-Tarts company t shirts station. So far it’s only guaranteed in Times Square unitl January (at which point executives will determine whether or not it will become a permanent fixture), so hurry up and get your sugar rush!
