Mobile advertising company Adzookie recently announced that it is looking for homeowners who will allow the exterior of their houses to be branded in exchange for a monthly mortgage payment. The company received an overwhelming response: thousands of people are apparently ready and willing to live inside of unique promotional products in exchange for a little dough.
Adzookie’s recently-launched mobile advertising platform has gained momentum lately, and this publicity stunt is its boldest move yet as it takes on larger ad networks such as Google’s AdMob and Apple’s iAd network – though neither of these seem to have thought to market their services through the use of unique promotional products like Adzookie.
Adzookie founder and CEO Romeo Mendoza told MSNBC that he originally intended to spread his $100,000 budget over 10 houses to be painted with with the brand’s logo for 3 months to a year, but due to the overwhelming response he’s gotten since announcing the project, is hoping to find more advertisers to join Adzookie’s network.
Promotional products come in all shapes and sizes: but whether you choose to print your logo on a keychain or house, you’ve got one mission in mind: brand awareness. And through this creative endeavor, Adzookie has already accomplished that mission faster and more effectively than it ever thought it would. And such is the power of unique promotional products.
