Promotional Picture Frames to Enhance the High School Prom Experience

Gettinginto Limo.Whether or not you actually attended your high school prom, the hype surrounding this American tradition is undeniable. The planning and preparation that go into this night are immense, and students spend months agonizing over minute details like limos, corsages, attire, and, of course, dates.

Teenagers have embraced proms as an opportunity to get dressed up and dance the night away with their peers, but once curfew on prom night passes, high school students are left with little to remember the night by aside from photos and memories. To help prom-goers memorialize this important evening, prom committees should consider customizing promotional picture frames to hand out as parting gifts.

On Monday, March 20th it is officially Spring! All the blooming flowers, warmer weather, and fun events that are typically associated with spring will arrive, but unfortunately so will spring showers. However, the rain does not have to keep us from enjoying spring time, imprinted umbrellas will keep you dry during these dreary moments.

Imprinted umbrellas come in a variety of materials, sizes, and functions, so you can customize them to fit your traveling and weather conditions. The deluxe folding promotional umbrella is an ideal piece to store in a purse or car in case an unexpected rain shower decides to pop-up. If the forecast is gloomy, the arc vented, windproof umbrella will keep its shape during more severe rain storms. Continue reading →

Super Bowl XLV is just around the corner, which means that football fans across the country are sending out invitations, tidying up the living room, planning menus full of munchies (and, if you’re in Georgia, buying beer ahead of time) for Super Bowl parties. I, for one, have gotten out my favorite promotional food & drink products that will make hosting the party and serving my guests easier.

My menu is extensive: from pizza to pigs in a blanket to s’mores for a fourth-quarter dessert, I’m sure that no one will go home hungry. Luckily, it won’t be difficult to pull off with the help of my favorite promotional food & drink products, like my football-shaped cutting board, custom s’mores kit, and brightly-colored promotional pizza cutter (which looks as good as it slices).

Get a Clear View with Promotional Ice Scrapers

We have had record low temperatures in Atlanta over the past two weeks and it doesn’t look like it will be letting up very much anytime soon. I think it is safe to say winter is finally here. In addition to the low temps, we have had some small amounts of precipitation which can only mean one thing: Ice and snow! Promotional ice scrapers are a staple item everyone should have in their car, not just those living up North. I can’t tell you how many times I had to use a credit card to scrape my windshield because I didn’t have a promotional ice scraper. Household and automotive items are one of the most used products consumers own, and promotional ice scrapers are a great giveaway to help promote your business. You can bet that the next time the temperature drops and the sleet and snow fall, your custom imprinted ice scraper will be the first thing they reach for.

Promotional Technology Gifts For Your Office

pinnacle company party Over the weekend, Mashable put out an article on their favorite promotional technology gifts for the 2010 holiday season. From diamond-encrusted Twitter jewelry to eco-friendly flash drives, a wide variety of trendy tech-savvy gifts are showcased.

Corporate Holiday Gifts for Hanukkah

December is finally upon us which means people across America are counting down the days of shopping left til Christmas to buy presents for their loved ones and perhaps corporate holiday gifts for their clients and employees. But you’ve probably been well aware of its fast approach by the decorations that have been flocking store fronts for well over a month now. I had my first decoration sighting on October 30th this year. But if you don’t happen to be a part of the whopping 2% of the American population that call themselves Jews, you may not be aware that the annual gift-giving Jewish holiday Hanukkah (or Chanukah) is already well under way.

Yes tonight marks the third of the eight crazy nights that comprise this Festival of Lights. Commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem from the Maccabees in the 2nd century BCE and the miracle of one day’s worth of oil burning for eight straight, Hanukkah is actually a relatively minor Jewish holiday in terms of its religious significance. Its significance has mainly grown instead because of Jewish families wanting to prevent their children from feeling left out of Christmas gift giving.

We live in a so-called secular country so whether you celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or Festivus you’re probably safest just sending politically correct “End-of-the-Year Holiday Gifts,” so no one has to feel left out.

Wishing a safe and happy holidays to all!

Gobble Up Promotional Athletic Apparel Now!

Thanksgiving is the perfect holiday, eat a ton and there’s no need to break the bank buying gifts! It’s a holiday solely for eating and being with loved ones. For me, Thanksgiving involves hanging out with my favorite people in the world, my family.
The eat-athon begins at about one o’clock with the first course, which in any traditional Italian home is what else but pasta! The homemade pasta usually made by my grandmother or aunts is accompanied by meatballs, braciole, and sauce. Once the dishes of pasta are distributed and everyone is seated, some dig right in while others take quite a while to prepare the perfect plate sprinkled with grated parmesan and hot pepper. Mangia!

After the food coma sets in from course number one, cleaning and naps are in progress and soon the preparation of course number two. The second course is another whole meal in itself, turkey and all the fixins’. One of my favorite parts about round two is watching my Brother and Uncles try the hot peppers made by my Nana. The hotter the pepper the more bread consumed adding to the already full bellies. Getting up from the table the second time I’m usually thinking I need some promotional athletic apparel to work off some of the weight this meal has put on. And this is before dessert has been served. Again, cleaning and naps are usually in progress with the coffee and dessert on its way. Pies, meringues, macaroons, and more are then lined up on the table waiting for anyone who has room for it. If there’s a blueberry pie on the table, I’m eating it! I should have my cell in on hand ready to purchase my promotional athletic apparel and a fork full of pie in the other. At least then I wouldn’t feel so bad because I do have the intension of working it off. By the end of our Thanksgiving dinner it’s usually pretty late, around 8 o’clock and we’re all very full and tired. Spending the day with my family on this great holiday is well worth the tireless preparation and slight weight gain, that’s what turkey is all about!

Happy Thanksgiving from Pinnacle Promotions! Our office will be closed on Thursday and Friday so we won’t be blogging, but we’ll be back Monday with our usual news and insight related to the promotional products industry!

Fill Reusable Grocery Bags with Food for Hungry Mouths This Winter

Chloe and Lily with Pinnacle Reusable Grocery Bags

Chloe and Lily doing their part to contribute food to the Pinnacle Promotions Holiday Food Drive

For the past few weeks, Pinnacle has been holding a food drive to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. We set a companywide goal of bringing in 100 non-perishable food items, and with everybody’s cooperation, we were able to exceed our goal by more than 40 items. With the Thanksgiving and holiday season upon us, Pinnacle’s staff members realized the importance of donating food to those local individuals less fortunate than ourselves.

Some of our employees even got their families involved in the initiative, as shown in the above photo of Chloe (6) and Lily (8), the daughters of Pinnacle VP of Sales, Daniel. Daniel and his adorable girls took a trip to the grocery store, reusable grocery bags in tow, to select an array of non-perishables listed by the Food Bank as most needed this time of year because of their high nutritional value. To learn more about Pinnacle’s food drive and to read several shocking statistics that may convince you to hold your own food drive this holiday season, keep reading…
