Cuervo Games Atlanta
Centennial Olympic Park. Saturday, 1pm. Free.
This Saturday, Jose Cuervo takes over Centennial Olympic Park for Atlanta’s own Cuervo Games, a series of gladiator-style competitions that promise to either humiliate teams or send them to Las Vegas for the national championships. The festivities will include live performances by N.E.R.D. and Teddy Porter, as well as food and (of course) margaritas.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: The Wizard of Oz
Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. Saturday, 8:30pm. $27 – $59.
Come out and enjoy this beloved classic under the stars. Follow Dorothy’s journey on the big screen amid the park, accompanied by a live score by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Hosted by Turner Classic Movies’ own Ben Mankiewicz.

Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival Presents Toy Story 3
Fox Theatre. Sunday, 1 pm. $8.
Bring the whole family to the Fabulous Fox to watch what happens when Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the Toy Story gang find out that beloved owner Andy is heading to college. If Woody and Buzz leave you longing for more classic films, stick around for a showing of the Twilight Saga- Eclipse at 6:30pm.

Heritage Sandy Springs BeerFest
Heritage Green. Saturday, 3pm – 8pm. (HSS members only 3-4pm). $25 in advance; $30 at the door.
Enjoy food, beers from over 70 breweries, and live music – all for a great cause. Proceeds of HSS BeerFest benefit Heritage Sandy Springs, the not-for-profit organization that funds and operates Heritage Green, a four-acre city park in the center of Sandy Springs. Entry fee grants you a souvenir pint glass, beer samples and access to the park. If you would like to volunteer to “greet and help the beer enthusiasts,” you will receive a free t-shirt and be permitted to sample the beers in moderation during your shift. Leave the kids with a sitter, as this event is strictly for the 21+ crowd.

Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta
Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia. Sunday, 1pm – 5pm. $10 advance; $15 at the door.
Attend wedding planning seminars, watch a fashion show of wedding dresses, taste wedding cake, find your perfect wedding venue, and have the opportunity to win thousands in prizes including a $25,000 wedding shopping spree. If you’re not getting married, consider going just for the free swag. They even recommend you bring pre-printed labels or business cards to save time when registering to win prizes.

Forsyth County Pet Fair & Family Fun Day
Cumming Fairgrounds. Saturday, 8am – 10pm. Free.
The Humane Society of Forsyth County is holding a Pet Fair & Yard Sale to celebrate all things pets. The whole family – especially the family pet – is encouraged to attend. Enter your dog in one of many contests including “Best Dressed Dog” and “Waggiest Tale.” Enjoy vendor demonstrations, a $20 microchip clinic, face painting, moonwalks and even a “Mutts & Music” live concert from 6pm – 10pm.
