You probably know all of this, but I’ll give you a little biography of Mrs. Child. During her time in the Office of Strategic Services, she was stationed in Sri Lanka, where she met her husband Paul Cushing Child. After some time back in the United States, Paul was stationed in Paris, which is where Julia (we’re on a first name basis) learned to cook. After studying at Le Cordon Bleu, she penned The Art of French Cooking and the rest was history. Okay, really there is much more to the story, but this post is getting a little long and I haven’t even gotten to my point.
Though I don’t personally have an affinity for boeuf bourguignon, I do like to cook and find myself in the kitchen at least three or four times a week. Though I still maintain that my sharp chef’s knife is my most important kitchen tool, I find myself using a lot of promotional products while I cook too.
The Lift-It Pancake Turner is awesome for flipping pancakes. I also use it for a variety of other things like flipping fish, stirring eggs, pretty much anything. The great part about it is because of the lift, you don’t need a spoon rest; the spatula part won’t touch the countertop when you set it down.
