While many of us were sleeping in and relaxing on New Year’s Day and January 2, others had big plans to get up and catch a flight back home. However, thanks to a bug in Apple’s alarm clock iPhone app this past weekend, those would-be travelers were sleeping, too. Apple claims that the app should have started working properly again this morning, but to help ensure that travelers don’t oversleep due to faulty technology, hotels and other organizations in the hospitality industry should consider distributing promotional alarm clocks. Businesses can choose from sophisticated leather or metal alarm clocks or smaller, more affordable travel clocks that recipients can take with them any time they stray from home.
