One of my favorite things about my job is that I get to preview new merchandise and work with different vendors from all over the world. Recently, I met with a few key people at Stormtech, a Canadian based apparel brand that specializes in offering quality outerwear to the corporate apparel market. Since 1977, Stormtech has been delivering performance outerwear for the masses. All of their products are designed, developed and tested in Canada.
As new products for 2013 trickle in, I sift through them and select my best-loved garments to feature for the upcoming season. I am happy to report that I am really digging these Chambray Dress shirts. You might have seen the trend in retail for the past few years, and finally someone has got it right in the corporate apparel industry!
As of Tuesday afternoon, Tropical Storm Isaac is now a Category 1 hurricane. Since we are smack dab in the middle of hurricane season, I thought I would help my readers out by suggesting a rain jacket to brave the upcoming storms.

If you work in an office that is anything like mine, you are freezing with out a sweater or blazer. Even though it is pushing 98 degrees outdoors, I find myself dreaming about cozy sweaters, layering and fall (to help me cope with the a/c chill). I have collected some of my favorite cover-ups that are office appropriate. These styles can up your cool quotient and keep you warm at your second home.
The Bella Unisex Triblend Cardigan: This cover-up can work for both sexes. Made from a poly/cotton/rayon blend, the knit is soft and cozy. Think of this as a t-shirt that has fashioned into a cardigan! I recommend embroidery on the chest.
Now that summer 2012 is fully underway, it is time to think about clothing that you can wear on vacation. I am fully into the nautical trend this year, and love the look for men and women alike. One of my favorite nautical staples is the stripe. I think stripes are classically cool and can be flattering when styled right.
The mini stripe is a pattern that can be worn by just about anyone. Since the stripes are subtle, they will not enhance any flaws. So, you can be on trends wearing stripes, but in a tasteful and forgiving way. I love these new tees; they have the right amount of classic and edge. A one-color logo screen print would look great on these!

I was a wee little one when neon clothing and accessories were all the rage in the 1980’s, but I still got on the trend bandwagon with OP (Ocean Pacific) jams and a paint-splattered tee. I though I was pretty cool, considering that my trendsetting Grandmother had the matching ensemble. Well, Memorial Day is fast approaching, and if you are anything like me you are probably planning your outfits for the long weekend. Okay that might just be me, but even if you are not, here are a few cool picks for those lazy days of summer that lay ahead of us.
As summer approaches, I find myself reaching for my favorite headwear of the season. I love to wear hats on the weekend. They conceal day-old hair, can be fashionable and are perfect when you want to travel incognito around your neighborhood. Not to mention hats are great for blocking the harmful rays of the sun.
Hats are also an intelligent choice to show off your logo. If the hat you choose is stylish and comfortable, the end user will most likely wear the chapeau many times! Imagine all of the places your brand can be seen! So choose your favorite ten-gallon, bowler, boater or sombrero and watch your logo take a journey!
