Yesterday co-blogger Sarah and I participated in the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) “Take Steps Walk,” at Centennial Olympic Park joining thousands of others at over 100 Walk sites that will gather across the country this spring and summer in the fight against Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
The walk was not short of supporters – and of course promotional products. (See Sarah and I sporting our promotional gear at the walk below.)
We’ve said it before, but promotional products really are a great way for non-profit organizations, like CCFA, to spread awareness for their cause and for recipients to show their support. It’s also a way for other businesses to gain advertising exposure – often times companies that sponsor such events get their names printed on the promotional materials too.
I know there are a lot of walks going on around the country this spring and summer so let us know when you participate in one and what promotional products you receive!

It’s great that people are supporting these illnesses. It’s been tough living with it, and it baffles me how people make such a hype about cancer, aids, etc…but when it comes to Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis, I hear hardly anything about it.
I wish that this picture showed my new promotional cinch pack. I love that thing :)
