Though the end of November isn’t your typical “wedding season,” there are probably lots of brides and grooms out there who are planning for their upcoming Spring or Summer 2013 weddings. And as anyone who’s been married before knows, planning a wedding takes a lot of time and there’s no such thing as starting too early!
I actually did go to a wedding last weekend and that’s what inspired this post. My cousin Mikey got married to his girlfriend Jessica. The wedding was really fun (they had like 6 different cake flavors!) but what stood out to me was their use of promotional products as favors.
On the tables, they had Personalized Hershey Kisses. Instead of a logo, they personalized them with the words “Michael and Jessica – November 10, 2012.” I wish I took a picture.
In addition, they had a table full of flip-flops. These were set on the table so that guests could take off their uncomfortable heels and dance! I know I used them. I’ll admit, these particular flip-flops were not the promotional variety, but how cute would it be to offer your guests flip-flops for dancing with your name and wedding date imprinted on them?
I also have been to weddings where the bride and groom gave out promotional koozies and promotional candles as wedding favors, both fantastic ideas that wedding guests will use over and over and remember the bride and groom’s special day when they do.
