Break out your cowboy boots and square dance to Heritage Green. Your ticket includes food, beer and live music. Themed outfits are encouraged! Proceeds benefit Good Mews, a no-kill and cage free shelter in Marietta.

Metro Atlanta CASA Superhero 5K & Fun Run
Piedmont Park. Saturday, 4:00 p.m. $30 for adults; $20 children; $15 for students.
Make a difference in the lives of children. The Superhero Run raises awareness and funds for Metro Atlanta CASA (Court Appointed Special Adovcates), who helps abused and neglected children. Dress up in your best superhero costume and to show that you can be a superhero to children. Runners have the opportunity to raise money and those who raise more than $1,000 will receive a runner’s gift basket. There will also be a contest for best costume.

Atlanta Veg Fest
Ambient Plus Studio. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Free.
Whether you are vegan, vegetarian or just want to learn more about a animal-free lifestyle, come to the Atlanta Veg Fest for a day of meat-free fun. There will be lots of speakers, vegan friendly vendors and kids activities. The first 100 guests will receive good bags full of samples.

Vintage Corks and Gourmet Trucks
Across from Alpharetta City Hall. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. $3 food tasting and $3 half glasses of wine.
Downtown Alpharetta is the place to be on Saturday, as they hold the first ever Vintage Corks & Gourmet Trucks event. There will be different food and wine pairings as well as art and music for everyone to enjoy. Fabulous food trucks including Hail Caesar, Wow Food Truck and Yum Yum Cupcake will be there (as well as others.)

Ultimate Adult Prom
Aja. Friday, 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. $35 a ticket; $60 a couple. 21+.
Relive or redo your youth at The Ultimate Adult Prom. There will be a prom king and queen, a gangnam style dance off, a dj and a photo booth. Each ticket includes two drink tickets, prom photos and there will be food stations open from 8-9:30.

Art on the Atlanta Beltline
Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park. Saturday, 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Free.
Art on the Atlanta Beltline presents the last weekend of interactive art and performances. It’s closing out its season in two parts. First, wander around the Dojo Collective’s In the Land of Wanderers, who constructed a space that serves both as a visual installation and a performance space. Closing out the night is Ryan Mathers with a performance piece entitledImmolation that centers on the recent acts of self-immolation carried about by Tibetan Monks. Bring along chairs, blankets, food, and pets to enjoy this last evening of unique art.
