23rd Annual Pet Parade – A Walk for Animals
Atlantic Station. Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. $40. Children 12 and under are free. Pets walk free with their owners.
This 1.5 mile walk around Atlantic Station supports the Atlanta Humane Society generate awareness for their efforts. Anyone can participate, pet or no pet. In addition to the walk, there will also be all sorts of pet-centric activities including a vendor market and microchip clinic, games and contests such as pet/owner look-a-like, best trick and best costume. All registrants will receive a t-shirt.

Sandy Springs Farmers Market Opening Weekend
235 Sandy Springs Circle. Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Spring is here and that means that the Sandy Spring Farmers Market is open! Join your neighbors on opening weekend and shop for produce, meat, fresh eggs and all kinds of other local food items. There will also be games and live entertainment.

Alpharetta Arts Streetfest
Alpharetta Historic District. Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Enjoy the arts in historic Alpharetta. This two-day long festival features booths from 100 artists, an “art in action” children’s area, an upcycling art area and plenty of live music and delicious food.

8th Annual Atlanta Arab Festival
Alif Institute. Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Sunday, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. $2 per person; $5 per family.
Learn about Arab culture at the Atlanta Arab Festival. There will be educational exhibits, music and dance, games for all ages, a market and wonderful food from several local Arab restaurants.

Georgia Renaissance Festival
Georgia Renaissance Festival Fairgrounds. Saturdays and Sundays through June 2nd, 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. $19.95 adults; $17.95 seniors 60+; $8.95 children 6-12; free for children 5 and under.
Don’t miss the opening weekend of the Georgia Renaissance Festival. Wander through this makeshift kingdom while enjoying the food and drink of the time. Shop for handcrafted items, enjoy a stage show or try your hand at one of the games. Special 2-for-1 adult tickets available opening weekend only!

Spring Festival on Ponce and The Nun Dash
Olmstead Linear Park. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Free. Nun Dash is Saturday at 12:00 p.m. $10 for children 12 and under, $20 for adults, $30 for adults including a costume. You must have a full nun costume to be included in the attempt to beat the world record.
Enjoy the works over over 125 artists in the beautiful tree-lined setting of Olmstead Linear Park. There will also be music from various acoustic musicians, a kids area and various food and drinks. This year will also feature the Nun Dash, a quarter mile run as part of an attempt to break a world record for the largest number of people dressed as nuns (with proceeds going to Cure Childhood Cancer).
