Dad’s Garage. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. $28 – $88 online; $38 – $98 at the door. 21+.
Enjoy the three important B’s in life: beer, bands and bacon at BaconFest. There will be four local bands playing, carnival games including hobo wine tasting and bad caricatures and of course beer and bacon. The beer will be supplied by PBR and Grolsch and the bacon from The Vortex and D.B.A. Barbecue. Proceeds to go Dad’s Garage.

Hop in the Park Easter Celebration
Atlantic Station. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Free. Pictures with the Easter bunny are $5.
Enjoy a family-friendly Easter outing at Atlantic Station on Saturday. There will be pictures with the Easter Bunny, face painting, balloon art and a special meet and greet with Caroline Sunshine from Disney Channel’s Shake It Up.

Laughing Skull Comedy Festival

Ready to get your laugh on this weekend? The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival is a 5-day event that showcases comedians from all over the US and Canada. Proceeds to go the Lenny Bruce Memorial Foundation. Shows are held at different venues around the city. Check out the more info link below to buy tickets to specific shows.

Irish Barkfest
Meehan’s Vinings. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Free. (Raffle tickets extra)
BullsEye Rescue, a non profit dedicated to improving the lives of bully breeds, is throwing a fundraiser called the Irish Barkfest. Enjoy drink specials and patio dining at Meehan’s in Vinings as well a silent auction and a raffle to win a guitar signed by Patrick Sansone of the band Wilco. There will also be dogs available for adoption.

Great City Race
RiRa. Saturday, race begins at 12:00 p.m. and will take 2-3 hours. $40 in advance; $50 day of race.
If you’ve ever wanted to be on “The Amazing Race,” this event is for you. It’s part urban adventure and part scavenger hunt and takes place in Midtown this Saturday. Teams of two will compete against each other try to be the first to solve all the clues and reach the cash and prizes first. You can only use your feet and public transportation and must have a camera or camera phone. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Governor’s Glen Senior Support Services.

Grant Park Zombie Pub Crawl
Oakland Cemetery. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. $25 in advance; $30 day of. 21+
Zombies are taking over Grant Park on Saturday and here’s your chance to be one of them. The Zombie Pub Crawl will start in Oakland Cemetery (how appropriate) and head to five different neighborhood bars. You’ll receive a drink at each bar, a promotional beer mug, food and drink specials and get a chance to participate in zombie themed contests.
