The Black History Month Parade
Parade begins on the corner of Bell Street and Auburn Avenue. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Post-parade activities at Underground Atlanta begin at 3:00 p.m. Free.
Celebrate Black History Month with a parade that goes from the Historic Sweet Auburn District to Underground Atlanta. There will be marching bands, entertainers, dignitaries, non-profits and more. After the parade, there will be an additional celebration at Underground Atlanta. This is a great event for the entire family.

Atlanta Photography Group Push Pin Show
Tula Arts Center. Friday, 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. $10. Free for Atlanta Photography Group members.
Photographers, showcase your work at the Atlanta Photography Group’s 26th Annual Push Pin Show. Just bring your unmated photos to the event and pin them to the wall. The show goes on for two weeks but opening night (Feb 22) will feature pizza, beer, live music and portraits by Photographer Tom Meyer.

Shape Diva Dash
Foxhall Sporting Club. Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. $75. 12+.
Grab your girlfriends. The Diva Dash is a women only obstacle course that features 10-12 obstacles of varying degrees of difficulty. You will get to demonstrate your strength, agility, balance and speed. Each obstacle will have a bail-out option, so if something doesn’t suite your fancy, don’t worry about skipping it. After you complete the 3 mile course with your besties, hang out at the after party which features hourly drawings for prizes, a beer and wine garden, a DJ and more.

Discover the Dinosaurs
North Atlanta Trade Center. Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 9: 00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. $17 for adults; $12-$20 for children up to age 12; $15 for seniors; children 1 and under are free.
The dinosaurs are coming to Atlanta! Experience the thrill of this life-like walk through exhibit. Other attractions include gem and fossil panning, dino face painting, a dino dig, mini golf and more!

RAW Artists Atlanta Presents DISCOVERY
Terminal West. Thursday, 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. $15 in advance; $20 at the door. 18+.
RAW launches its 2013 season with a bang. Check out 40 local artists who will be presenting their latest takes on music, visual art, photography, makeup artistry, and performing arts. The local indie scene is thriving in Atlanta and RAW will be showcasing the best of the best!

Mardi Gras Fest
Front Page News. Saturday, 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. $15 in advance; $20 at the door. Admission to the Abita Beer Tasting is $30 and that includes admission to the entire event. 21+
Mardi Gras might be over for 2013 in New Orleans, but you still have a chance to celebrate right here in Atlanta. Head over the the Little 5 Points location of Front Page news for live music, New Orleans food, hurricanes, beer and of course, beads. There will also be an Abita Beer Tasting for an additional charge.
