Piedmont Park.  Saturday, 9:00 a.m.  $40.

Earn that breakfast!  This 5K in Piedmont Park includes a breakfast burrito and home fries from Edwards Brother’s Barbecue and a cup of coffee from San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company afterward.  You’ll enjoy a raffle and lawn games while you eat.

Atlanta Moon Ride

Atlanta Moon Ride

Park Tavern. Friday, kick off is at 8:00 p.m.; ride starts at 10:00 p.m.  $30 in advance; $35 day of event.

Head down to the Park Tavern with your bike on Friday night.  The Atlanta Moon Ride is a 6.5 mile bicycle ride to raise money for Bert’s Big Adventure.  There will be a rolling DJ keeping the pace along with the Atlanta Police Department.  The route finishes where it started, at the Park Tavern, where everyone will be partying until 2 am.  Costumes are encouraged and there will be prizes.

Dunwoody Art Festival

Dunwoody Art Festival

5501 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.  Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Free.

Take mom to the fourth annual Dunwoody Art Festival this weekend.  There will be a vibrant artist market featuring more than 160 artists, a kids area, live music and a tasty food court. In addition, there will be a “Chairs for Charity” auction, giving attendees the chance to bid chairs painted and decorated by students in Dunwoody schools.  Proceeds from “Chairs for Charity” will go to the art programs at the participating schools.

Kirkwood Spring Fling

Kirkwood Spring Fling

Bessie Branham Park.  Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Free for festival; Tour of Homes is $20.

The 11th Annual Kirkwood Spring Fling is this Saturday.  Enjoy an artists market, live music, plenty of food and a kids area.  There will also be a Tour of Homes, showcasing some of the best homes in Kirkwood.

Gnomes in the Hood

Gnomes in the Hood

Garden*Hood. Saturday, 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.  Free.

Head to Cabbagetown to own your very own Garden Gnome.  Gnomes in the Hood features unique gnomes created by 25 local artists.  They will be auctioned off and proceeds will go to the Cabbagetown Clay and Glass Works.  While the silent auction is going on, you will be able to enjoy light appetizers and cocktails while checking out the great plants and flowers at Garden*Hood.

Buckhead Spring Arts & Crafts Festival

Buckhead Spring Arts & Crafts Festival

Chastain Park. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Free.

Over 175 artists and artisans will be in Chastain Park this Saturday and Sunday for the 4th Annual Buckhead Spring Arts & Crafts Festival. Take a stroll while listening to live acoustic music, sample the best local food, or stopping by with your children in the professional children’s area. Pets are welcome and admission is free, making this one outdoor event not to be missed.
