Chomp and Stomp Chili Cookoff
Cabbagetown Park. Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. $5 for chili samples; free without chili samples.
If you love chili then Cabbagetown is the place to be on Saturday. You will be able to sample chili from some of Atlanta’s best restaurants as well as homemade chili from individual teams. Last year there were about 100 chilis to taste, so arrive hungry. There will also be three stages of bluegrass music and an artist’s mart.

Decatur Wine Festival
Decatur Square. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. $35. 21+.
Attention oenophiles, here’s an event that’s right up your alley. The Decatur Wine Festival, held in the Decatur square, features wines from around the world, food from popular Decatur restaurants and a great band. Whether you prefer Chardonnay, Cabernet or any of the other varietals, you might just find your new favorite wine.

Woodstock Art & Wine Festival
Woodstock City Park. Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Free. $25 for a wine tasting wristband.
The Woodstock Art & Wine Festival features more than 70 local artists showcasing their work. There will be paintings, photographs, sculptures, pottery, jewelry and more all available for purchase. In addition, festival-goers may purchase a wine tasting wristband that allows them to sample more than 30 types of wine. There will also be music and a kids area.

Atlanta Day of the Dead Celebration
Atlantic Station. Sunday, 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Free.
Experience cultural performances, arts and crafts and authentic Latino foods at the 3rd Annual Day of the Dead Celebration. View traditional altars and enter the contest to make your own. Enjoy live acoustic music and storytelling celebrating this sacred holiday.

Atlanta Movie Tours Hollyween Party
Event loft at Underground Atlanta. Saturday, 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Free but you must RSVP, limited number of tickets available.
Halloween may be on Wednesday, but you still have a chance to party at the Atlanta Movie Tours Hollyween Party this weekend. Dress up in your favorite “Hollyween” costume and enjoy cocktails, food, music, photos, games and goodie bags with Atlanta Movie Tours. The Hollyween Party is a benefit for the Gateway Center. This event is free but you must RSVP to attend.

Chastain Park Arts Festival
Chastain Park. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Free.
This Saturday and Sunday Chastain Park will hold its annual Arts Festival. This event showcases Georgia talent and helps benefit a scholarship fund for local artists. Bring your kids (or pets!) and enjoy this free event. Feed your creative side and your stomach at the great selection of food trucks and carts, including Pinnacle favorite, King of Pops. According to the weatherman, it’s going to be a great fall weekend, take time to spend it appreciating local art.
