East Atlanta Strut

East Atlanta Strut

The 15th Annual East Atlanta Strut will be taking place on Saturday. This one-day event includes 5 stages of music, a comedy stage, an artist market, a kids village, circus acts and a fun parade that starts at 2 pm. This is a family friendly event that everyone will enjoy.

Taste of Chamblee

Taste of Chamblee

Historic Chamblee. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Festival admission is free; food tickets cost $5 for 5 tickets; $10 for 10 tickets; $20 for 25 tickets; $40 for 50 tickets. 

Sample all different types of food while enjoying a street festival in the heart of historic Chamblee.  This year’s event will have an antique car show, an art walk featuring more than 40 artists, a beer garden, music, a kids area and of course, samples from local restaurants such as High Road Craft Ice Cream, Vintage Pizzeria, There Brookhaven and many more.  Admission to the festival is free, but to sample the food, you must purchase tickets.  The cost of food is between 1 and 6 tickets, depending on the restaurant.

Fall Festival on Ponce

Fall Festival on Ponce

Olmstead Linear Park. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Free.

The Fall Festival on Ponce takes place all weekend in the beautiful, tree-lined Druid Hills area of Atlanta.  There will be artists showcasing their wares, from ceramics to jewelry to photography, there’s something for everyone.  In addition, there will be acoustic music through the weekend and food from some of Atlanta’s most popular food trucks.

Sit stay love anthropologie

Sit. Stay. Love.

Anthropologie Perimeter Mall. Sunday, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Free.

Anthropologie is hosting a pet adoption and supply drive. Visit to check out adorable animals up for adoption, buy new fall clothes and learn about what you can do to help our furry friends in need. A shelter will be on hand taking monetary donations and collecting supplies.

Atlanta Underground Film Festival

The Goat Farm Arts Center. Thursay – Sunday; see website for times. Single screening tickets $7; Day Pass $10; All Access Pass $25. 

Indulge your inner film critic this weekend at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival. Four days of film from around the world for those of us who love anything subtitled, with a great selection of film shorts, documentaries, and animated offerings. All screenings will take place at the Goat Farm Arts Center and you can purchase tickets for a single screening, a day pays, or for the entire festival. Take a break for Michael Bay styled explosions and boring plots, and come check out this film festival and support budding directors everywhere.

Atlanta Arts Festival

Piedmont Park. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Free.

This weekend is filled with festivals and the Atlanta Arts Festival is one not to be missed. Set in Piedmont Park, the festival includes artist demonstrations, classes and live music. There were also be street performers, tons of food and drink and of course, many artists booths showcasing all different sorts of artwork.
