King of Pops Field Day
Masquerade Music Park. Sunday, 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Free.
Come celebrate Atlanta’s favorite popsicle at the King of Pops Field Day. In addition to a free pop, you can also see some great local bands and participate in field day games, a ping-pong tournament and a popsicle eating contest. Should you require a bit more sustenance, several popular food trucks will also be there! All proceeds to go Wholesome Wave.

AIDS Walk & 5K Run
Piedmont Park. Sunday, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. $10 for walkers; $30 for runners before October 20th; $40 registration day of walk.
AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run is this Sunday, starting and ending at the meadow in Piedmont Park. The event is in it’s 22nd year and is the largest AIDS-related fundraising event in the Southeast. Raise money for Aids Service Organizations throughout metro Atlanta while participating in the 5K walk or run.

Atlanta Food Show: An Evening with the Artisans
Academy of Medicine at Georgia Tech. Friday, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. $50.
The Atlanta Food show will bring together the best of Atlanta’s food artisans for an evening of cocktails and tastings. Sample local food and drinks while supporting Atlanta-based charity Hungry for a Day. This is a great event for all foodies or locavores!

Howl-o-ween
Renaissance Atlanta Midtown. Saturday, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. $25 and a pet food donation covers admission.
Dress up Fido and head to one of Atlanta’s pet friendly hotels for a Halloween bash! Enjoy a costumed-dog parade, costume contest and more! Your admission includes a photo shoot with Alecia Lauren Photography and a 4×6 portrait keepsake. Proceeds will benefit P.A.L.S.

Little 5 Points Festival and Halloween Parade
Little 5 Points. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Parade begins at 4:00 p.m. Free.
The Little 5 Points Halloween Parade is an Atlanta favorite. This eclectic event features food trucks, bands, an artist’s market and of course, a parade full of some of the weirdest and most creative costumes you’ve ever seen. People watching at it’s finest!

Goldenrama 2012
Field across from the Atlanta Athletic Club. Sunday, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Suggested donation $10 per person or $25 per family.
Goldenrama is a family-friendly afternoon filled with Golden Retrievers. Bring your golden to John’s Creek for dog games, training, a pet costume contest, a pet psychic, food and drink and general doggie fun. Proceeds go to Adopt a Golden Atlanta.
