Little Five Points Festival & Parade
Little Five Points. Saturday, noon – midnight. Free.
Head on out to the corner of Euclid and Moreland Avenue to enjoy the finest and most unique Halloween parade and festival in town! The party starts at noon, featuring a lineup of four local bands. The infamous parade begins at 4 p.m. Get a kick out of all the decorated vehicles and costumes! More fun and festivities are in-store after the parade until midnight!

Taste of Atlanta
Midtown at Tech Square. Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. $25.
Now celebrating its tenth year, Taste of Atlanta features good eats from more than 80 of Atlanta’s favorite restaurants, as well as cooking demonstrations at the Global Flavors International Stage and a Family Food Zone. VIP tickets ($75) get you admission to the Wine + Beer + Cocktail Experience, which offers tasting tents and educational seminars. So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to eat your heart out, Atlanta!

Boo at the Zoo
Zoo Atlanta. Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Free with General Admission.
Celebrate Halloween at the Zoo! Kids of all ages will love this festival located in Zoo Boo Town Castle! Yummy treats, Halloween themed activities and more await you. Meet and have your picture taken with the characters of Zoo Boo Town. Don’t forget to wear your costume to enter the Boo costume contest for your chance to win sweet prizes!

King of Pops Field Day
Masquerade Music Park. Sunday, 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. Free.
Join the King of Pops as he (they) give back to the community with a whole lotta carnival games, field day games, a dunk tank, living ice carving, moonwalk and, of course, a King of Pops eating contest. This free, all ages party will feature free pops and live music from local bands as it raises money for Save Criminal Records Atlanta.

Dunwoody Music Festival 2011
Brook Run Park. Saturday, 11 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. Sunday, noon – 5:45 p.m. General admission, $5; Saturday’s headline concert, $12.95.
This weekend-long music festival packs in an impressive line-up, covering genres including 80s rock (at Saturday’s headline concert), folk, funk, jazz, Southern rock, and more! Watch local bands go head to head in Saturday afternoon’s Battle of the Bands for an opening act gig at the Georgia Theatre in Athens. Also, don’t miss the exciting BreakOff Battle Royale competition, featuring 16 break dance crews, on Sunday at 2PM.

“Grease” Sing-along
Earl Smith Strand Theatre. Saturday, 8 p.m. Adults, $8. Children/Students/Seniors, $7.
Planning on dressing up as a Pink Lady or T-Bird for Halloween this year? Break out your costume a week early and join other “Grease” fans for a rousing sing-along to the 1978 musical. Live organ pops variety show and sing-along showcasing The Strand’s Mighty Allen Theatre Organ starts at 7:30PM.
