Music Midtown
Piedmont Park. Saturday, noon – 11 p.m. $55 and up.
The legendary Music Midtown event returns with 10 local and world-renown bands playing on 2 stages. You can begin the afternoon with the Postelles and end the evening with Coldplay. In between, relax with more music, browse the artists market, and sip a local brew. Ahhhhh, perfection.

Grant Park Tour of Homes
Grant Park. Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday, noon – 6 p.m. $20 online, $25 day of the event.
Examine city living at its finest, with the 39th Annual Grant Park Tour of Homes. Ten exquisite homes and ornate urban gardens are included in this classic tour. Grant Park homeowners have a special way of combining their love of the current without losing the charm and antiquity of the past in their décor. Throughout the weekend, experts will be on hand discussing beekeeping, raising city chickens and presenting a how-to on planting autumn gardens. Don’t forget your reusable grocery tote, Sunday visitors can also shop the Grant Park Farmers Market.

The Great Miller Lite Chili Cook-Off
Stone Mountain. Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. $10 for adults; free for children 12 and under.
The Atlanta Chili Cook-Off is the perfect way to kick-off fall! Taste chili from over 300 booths and enjoy live music (and of course some Miller Lite) while you chow down. Don’t miss the Jalapeno Eating Contest at 2:15 or the Mullet Flop later in the afternoon. All proceeds go to support Camp Twin Lakes.

Corn Dawgs Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch
Loganville. Friday 5 p.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 10 p.m, Sunday 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. $12 General Admission, $25 All-Inclusive Band.
Head outside of the city limits this fall for some festive fun. Try your best to find your way out of over four miles of Coca-Cola themed corn maze, blast pumpkins, feed the animals at the petting zoo, listen to live music and enjoy all of the other 20+ family-friendly activities. Can’t make it this weekend? No problem. Corn Dawgs is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through November 6.

Grand Opening of CineBistro

Paws in the Park Atlanta
Centennial Olympic Park. Saturday, noon – 5 p.m. Free.
All “paws” on deck: this dog walk and pet expo features a walk around Centennial Olympic Park, canine demonstrations, vendors, and more. Every dollar of pledge money raised by walk participants benefits the animals at Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption (APRA). APRA is a not-for-profit, no-kill shelter committed to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding loving homes for homeless dogs and cats.
