Oysterfest 2013

Atlanta Ballet’s Dracula
Cobb Energy Centre. Friday, February 8th – Saturday, February 16th. See website for show times. Prices start at $20. Parental discretion advised.
See Bram Stoker’s Dracula as you never have before – performed by the Atlanta Ballet. You’ll enjoy an original score by Philip Feeney, great costumes and set design and of course, wonderful dancing choreographed by Michael Pink. Just in time for Valentine’s Day too.

Cupid’s Undie Run
Ri-Ra Irish Pub. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. $50. 21+.
Why would you want to run around Midtown in your undies? To raise money for The Children’s Tumor Foundation, that’s why! Raise $25 and you’ll receive some custom Cupid undies. Raise $150 and you’ll receive an open bar ticket for after the race. Raise $500 and you’ll receive an official Cupid’s Undie Run bathroom and Raise $1,000 and you’ll receive an iPod nano. If running in your undies is a little too embarrassing (or cold), feel free to wear them over your clothes. This is a children’s charity event, so nothing too risque.

Winter Beer Carnival
Atlantic Station. Saturday, 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. VIP admission grants you entry at 2:00 p.m. $60 for VIP admission; $40 for regular admission; $20 for designated driver admission. 21+
What’s better than sampling over 150 different beers (including 7 gluten-free options)? Sampling over 150 different beers while playing fun carnival-style games, like the Shock Top Ice Slide. Promotional glasses will be handed out on a first come, first served basis. There will also be live DJs and delicious food from local restaurants. VIP admission grants you entry an hour early.

Big Zombie Tour & Bottle Rocket Mid-Season Premiere of The Walking Dead

Walking Dead fans, have we got an event for you! Join Atlanta Movie Tours’ Big Zombie Tour and visit the hangouts from the TV show on a 3-hour bus ride, enjoy special Zombie drinks on the bus, and enjoy an after-party at Bottle Rocket which will have appetizers and your choice of two drinks. Oyster and Mardi Gras Festival

Kick your Mardi Gras celebrations off right with the 2nd Anual Oyster/Mardi Gras Fest. This five days indoor festival starts this Friday and the party doesn’t end until Tuesday. Enjoy live music, while you eat oysters prepared in every way possible, and stick around for the crowning of the king and queen. This little slice of New Orleans offers you all the fun on Bourbon St. without the expensive plane tickets!
