Publix Georgia Marathon and Half-Marathon
Centennial Olympic Park. Sunday, 7:00 a.m. $135; free for spectators.
Join (or just watch) over 18,000 runners completing 26.2 or 13.1 miles through some of metro Atlanta’s most scenic neighborhoods. The race starts at Centennial Olympic Park and the course runs through downtown, Sweet Auburn, Inman Park, Decatur, Druid Hills, Virginia-Highland and Midtown. The race will end with a celebration in the park featuring the band Yacht Rock and plenty of post-race goodies from Publix.

Decatur Ghost Tour
Decatur Square. Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month of March, 7:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. $15 for adults; $12 children 10 and under.
Discover tales of murder, passion, vice, war and tragedy on the Decatur Ghost Tour. This one-mile walking tour will take you to some of Decatur’s oldest and most haunted locales, including a stop at the Decatur Cemetery. Bring your camera; you never know what will show up in your photos!

St. Patrick’s Festival at Underground Atlanta
Underground Atlanta. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Free.
Celebrate this St. Patrick’s day with live entertainment and fun at Underground Atlanta. Enjoy live bands, bag pipers, magicians and more. And while you’re there, drop of a canned good or a dollar for the “Pot of Gold” in support of the Atlanta Community Food Bank and receive a St. Patrick’s Day party favor for your contribution.

Olde Blind Dog Brookhaven St. Patrick’s Day
Town Brookhaven. Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – midnight. $5 at the door.
Catch a sneak preview of forthcoming Brookhaven pub Olde Blind Dog and enjoy live tunes at the St. Patty’s Day bash. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be available for cash tickets, and the beer will be flowing! Squinting Patrick takes the stage at 3PM, followed by Westside Blues Band at 6PM and The Tropiholics at 9PM.

Buckhead hotspot Tavern 99 is closing their parking lot for a St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza that promises beer, contests, and great music. 6 bands, including Patrick Scott Band (American Idol), Running with Desire (U2 tribute), and Francisco Vidal band, are in the line-up, along with 2 DJs. Ticket price includes 1 hosted drink, NCAA basketball games on 20 TVs, food and drink specials, get GREEN and more!

Model Train Show
Cobb Galleria Centre. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. $8 for Adults; Free for kids 12 and under.
All aboard! Don’t miss the Southeast’s premiere train show! Over 260 model train dealer tables, door prizes, six operating model railroads and a white elephant table round out the fun. And check out the kid friendly railroad that has been constructed for the show, teaching children how trains work.
