Tech Square. Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. VIP Tasting Tents open at 12:30 both days. General Admission $25 in advance; $35 at the event. General admission ticket includes admission and ten food tickets. VIP $75 in advance; $85 at the event. VIP ticket includes admission, 15 food tickets and admission into the Wine + Beer + Cocktail Experience.

Foodies, this is the event for you. At the Taste of Atlanta, you can enjoy food from over 80 Atlanta restaurants including The Optimist, Sublime Donuts and No. 246, watch chefs show off their skills and enjoy cooking demonstrations and lessons. If you purchase a VIP ticket, you will also gain admission to the Wine + Beer + Cocktail experience. Is your mouth watering yet?

BeltLine Beats

BeltLine Beats

Masquerade. Friday, 9:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. $5 for the first 200 people; $10 after.

Dance off a stressful workweek with BeltLine Beats, a music benefit supporting the Atlanta Beltline project. Local DJs include Dan Davis, DJ Ant B, DJ BE and more! All proceeds benefit the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership.

Hotoberfest

HOToberfest

Historic Fourth Ward Park. Saturday, 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m for general admission; 2:00 p.m. –  7 :00 p.m. for VIP admission. General Admission $30 in advance; $40 at the gate;  VIP admission $75 in advance.

Drink some beer for the Earth. HOToberfest is a beer festival that promotes sustainability by using solar or biodisel electrical power as well as all local vendors and encouraging recycling. Participate in the Consumer Judged Best Brew Competition or just sample up to 150 of your favorites (unlimited 2 oz. pours). There will also be live music and food trucks.

Oakland Cemetery Sunday in the Park

Oakland Cemetery Sunday in the Park

Oakland Cemetery. Sunday, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Suggested donation of $5 per person; children 3 and under free; parking $5.

Enjoy Sunday in the Park at historic Oakland Cemetery. This event is in it’s 33rd year. There will be an artists market, live music, history demonstrations and much more. Feel free to don your Victorian era costumes for the costume and photography contest.

Atlanta Streets Alive

Atlanta Streets Alive

Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail and parts of North Highland and Virginia Avenues. Sunday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Free.

For four hours you can enjoy playing in the streets as part of Atlanta Streets Alive. Five miles of road will be closed around the Virginia Highland area and the BeltLine to celebrate community space, health, outdoor recreation and active transportation. Participate in the Great Atlanta Halloween Bicycle Parade or just enjoy the street activities which include musicians, marching bands and dancing.

Flux Night

Flux Night 2012

Castleberry Hill. Saturday, 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Free.

Flux Night is a one-night public art event taking place in the Castleberry Hill Arts District. The night will start with a parade and will include music, light installations, art, music and dancing. Come enjoy interactive installation like the Sound Cloud Forest and, best of all, for free! Bike valets and Parking Shuttles will be available.

Gamers Xperience. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. $30.
