My Reptile Guys

Meet “My Reptile Guys” at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta this weekend! Famous around Atlanta for hosting amazing kid’s parties, see all of the unique snakes, lizards and other creatures in their family. Everyone will be able to touch and hold many of the featured animals. And you can get your pic with your favorite at the end of the show!

Starlight Stride 5K Run/Walk benefitting the Atlanta Children’s Shelter
Piedmont Park. Saturday, 8:30 p.m. $30 until 5/31; $35 on race day.
Support the Atlanta Children’s Shelter by running or walking the Starlight Stride 5K. This 5K is different than your typical race, though. It’s at night and will feature glow in the dark t-shirts, a lighted path and plenty of foods and fluids! For those that want to support the cause but can’t come, there is also the opportunity to become a phantom runner/walker by choosing the “Please don’t make me sweat…I support the cause…please mail my shirt.” option. Money raised will help fund the expansion of the Shelter’s Midtown location.

Artlantis differentiates itself from other Atlanta art and music festivals in that it showcases only local artists and musicians. Come support local talent at this festival which features 50 art booths and eight different local bands.

Hands on Atlanta: A Taste for Volunteering

The 10th Annual A Taste for Volunteering celebrates the talents and tastes of the West Midtown Community. Enjoy tasty treats, beer and wine (and a full bar for VIPs), live entertainment, museum tour and more in celebration and support of Hands on Atlanta.
