Yellow Daisy Festival
Stone Mountain. Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Free with $10 Vehicle Entrance Fee
Grab your browsing buddy and head to Stone Mountain as the Yellow Daisy Festival returns for the 42nd year. Visit over 400 arts and crafts vendors, take in live entertainment and enjoy great food as you shop. As the day winds down, don’t forget to grab a spot on Memorial Lawn for the lasershow.

09.11 Field of Flags
Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. Saturday, 7 a.m.
You are invited to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks by joining the Field of Flags installation, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Marietta. You can sponsor a flag or carry a flag, and all flags will fly from Saturday, September 10th through Friday, September 16th.

Fashion’s Night Out: Pop Up Shops & Boutiques
Atlantic Station. Friday and Saturday 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. Free.
Strap on your stilettos and join the festivities at the third annual Fashion’s Night Out at Atlantic Station. Gilt City and Modern Luxury are hosting a three-day Pop-Up Shop and Boutique event at Atlantic Station. Score current looks from designers Megan Huntz, Striver’s Row, Les Novelles, and more. And view the Paper-Cut-Project, an art installation by fashion maven Amy Flurry.

2nd Annual Atlanta Ice Cream Festival
Piedmont Park. Saturday, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. Free.
Vanilla, chocolate chip, or strawberry? That is the question at the 2nd Annual Atlanta Ice Cream Festival. Come enjoy them all and then get a little exercise by participating in various health activities including cheer, step, and more. Once you wear yourself out, sit back and watch the not-to-be-missed ice cream eating competition.

Atlanta British Car Fayre
Historic Norcross. Saturday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. $15 per car to display, free to attend.
This event is the bee’s knees for all of the Anglophiles among us! During the Atlanta British Car Fayre, British car and motorcycle enthusiasts gather together to compare rides, listen to great tunes, enjoy authentic chips and fix, and relax with afternoon tea. This year, the event benefits Rainbow Village.

Black Cat and Bully Bonanza
Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends building (Stone Mountain). Saturday, 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. $20 in advance; $25 at the door.
This event aims to shed light on the plight of black cats and pit bulls, two types of pets that are often ignored by rescue and adoption programs. In addition, part of the proceeds of the event will support Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends, Inc’s dog and cat adoption rooms and the organization’s foster program. The cost of admission includes 5 raffle tickets, with extra tickets on sale at the venue. The raffle will take place at 9:30PM and fantastic prizes, such as $1000 cash, will be up for grabs!

16th Annual Reynoldstown Wheelbarrow Festival
Lang-Carson Park. Saturday, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Free.
This community tradition has it all- a 5K race, art vendors, food and drinks, live music, a silent auction, and even a health fair! Arrive early to cheer for 5K race participants and spend the rest of the day (and night!) browsing artwork crafted by local artisans and enjoying performances by 4th Ward Afro Klezmer Orchestra, Colonel Bruce Hampton with Grant Green, Jr. and many more. The silent auction will be held at Trees Atlanta and will raise funds for the Reynoldstown Civic Improvement League; tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
