WrestleMania XXVII
Georgia Dome. Sunday, 6:30pm – 11pm. $25+.
The wrestling world’s best beatdown bonanza comes to Atlanta this year and will feature such match-ups as WWE Champion The Miz vs. Cena and World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Del Rio, while Triple H will challenge the legendary Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak. In addition to the hosting prowess of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, eventgoers will also get the chance to see Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of Jersey Shore fame step into the ring to compete.

International Pillow Fight Day
Freedom Park. Saturday, 3pm. Free.
Bring your best friend or your worst enemy to Freedom Park this Saturday afternoon for some good old-fashioned fun in Atlanta’s contribution to International Pillow Fight Day. From London to Buenos Aires, Budapest to Topeka, cities around the globe will participate in this worldwide celebration of fun. Pajamas are encouraged and $1/minute massages will be available to any and all participants.

Museums on Us by Bank of America

During the first Saturday and Sunday of every month, Bank of America cardholders enjoy free admission to local museums including the High Museum of Art, Atlanta History Center, and the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum. This weekend, check out the Henri Cartier-Bresson and Toulouse-Lautrec exhibits currently on display at the High, or venture over to the History Center to see the temporary “War in Our Backyards” display.

Taste what some of Atlanta’s best restaurants have to offer during Inman Park Restaurant Week, which features $15 and $25 prix fixe menus at twelve of the historic intown neighborhood’s signature nosh spots. Whether you choose from nationally recognized tried-and-true favorites Wisteria and Rathbun’s or decide to see what all the buzz surrounding the new Victory Sandwich Bar is all about, your dinner will both fill you up and benefit Atlanta’s own Project Open Hand.

Simon Fashion Now

This weekend, visit Lenox Square for a fashion extravaganza. Runway fashion shows, interactive beauty and product demonstrations, hourly prize giveaways and Style Stops are all part of the festivities. Also, don’t miss a design competition called “Design Wars,” featuring students from Bauder College at 7 PM on Friday night. I wish I could be there for Wrestlemania! Not that I’m interested in seeing Snooki but I’m a huge Undertaker and Rock fan. The pillow fight sounds like fun as well! I think we’re trying to organize one of those here in Nashville too. :)
