Pinnacle Promotions Supports Positive Growth Inc., Local Residential Facility for Adolescent Males

Atlanta, GA- On August 6, Pinnacle Promotions hosted a cook-out to mark the beginning of their relationship with Positive Growth, Inc., a non-profit residential facility that provides a nurturing environment for troubled and homeless adolescent males between the ages of 8 and 18. Pinnacle employees welcomed 15 Positive Growth residents and the response was overwhelming, with employees eager to share more about the promotional products industry and the boys enthusiastic to spend time at the Pinnacle office.

After enjoying hot dogs and barbecued chicken, a tour of the office, and a conversation with owners Mitch and Dave Weintraub, the residents of Positive Growth voted on a design for t-shirts that Pinnacle will donate in support of their basketball team. In addition to the t-shirts, which feature a logo designed by Pinnacle's in-house art department, members of the team will also receive athletic shorts to wear on the basketball court. The boys look forward to receiving the uniforms, which will exhibit the organization's green and gold colors.

Pinnacle has previously donated overruns and sample items to Positive Growth, including clothing, bags and school supplies, and plans to give more items throughout the year. The company will also organize activities and outings for their employees and the residents at Positive Growth, as they look forward to cultivating a long relationship.

The relationship formed as an initiative by Pinnacle's Philanthropy Committee, a group of dedicated employees who spearhead Pinnacle's commitment to giving back to the local community by donating the company's resources to worthy causes. Previous efforts include contributing auction items and carnival prizes to Annandale Village, a private, nonprofit residential community for adults with developmental disabilities, as well as providing school supplies to benefit the Kids in Need Foundation.
